Good quality. I just ordered two of (one as a gift) these as they are really nice. Well built unit, not some Harbor Freight junk. The spring claws are strong and open wide. The grip is solid and comfortable to use. The flexible shaft is not springy, it is like a microphone stand as you can bend/shape it and it holds that shape. The screw on light-magnet actually has a fairly strong light though the magnet is not super strong. My only other comments are it is a little bit on the short side and unfortunately it is made in China….

Clever and useful This item pleasantly surprised me. It’s really an all-in-one tool, with grabber, magnetic pickup and light. When you screw on the add-on magnet, the light automatically comes on. The stiff, stay-put wand makes it possible to pre-form the grabber, then reach into a spot where the floppy kind of grabber wouldn’t work. Very nice tool in my shop.

Sturdy but no light for the claw pickup tool This item is very sturdily built, but make sure you realize that the light ONLY works with the magnetic tool, not the claw option. I did not realize this, and since its for my garbage disposal where very few things I drop in there are magnetic, is of little use to me. Guess I’ll keep it for tight spaces for something magnetic I need to reach. Instead, I ordered the General Tools 70396 claw pickup which DOES light up with the claw tool, works very well although thinner and less rugged (but works well in a disposal).
