A review on the actual laptop. Good laptop. Sounds is great. Fan can be loud at times as described but nothing you won’t here from another laptop. Not a fan of the touchpad. It can be sensitive so change the settings, but also the right and left click are way at the edge of laptop. Great quality image. Runs great. Starts up super quick. Very efficient power saving. Quick sync of anything that you connect. Not saying you couldn’t find better, but if you’ve been looking and you are hurting your head from the back and forth, this purchase is worth it. Good quality, nice look too.
Annoying scratching sound at times Good deal for a 4rth gen i7.Pros: Love the raised keyboard with backlighting and the processor.Cons: Runs with slight but quiet scratching noise/ staticy sound at times- may be the HDD not sure. Bunch of predownloaded toshiba apps. Windows 8.Recieved one pc with the noise and returned it. The replacement also had it so I guess its normal for this line. It isnt that loud and only occasionally. I think its the HDD but I don’t think its a problem. This is the third time I’ve revised this review because I haven’t been able to make up my mind about this noise. Its not that bad when running but when powering on or off its louder. I ran a game to see the impact and if anything it was quieter. Got a great deal at $670 for this laptop and I would recommend it if you don’t mind it. I have a small fan that easily drowns out the noise(or some music) but if you like total silence while working this may be a nuisance.
