The world’s most powerful dual-port charger meets your power-hungry gadgets for simultaneous, full-speed charging for the road.
Full-speed for two.
Anker’s 24W / 4.8A Dual-Port Car Charger is the world’s most powerful, capable of simultaneously charging 2 devices – whether 2 phones, 1 tablet + 1 phone, or even 2 iPad 4s – at their fully-intended charging speeds. Compatible with both Apple and Android devices, this may well be the last charger you’ll ever have to buy.
Quality first.
Unlike many others, we use only top-grade microchips in our chargers. Our reasoning is simple: we’ll always value reliability and speed over cost. To keep your products safe, we’ve incorporated a unique dual-circuit protection system. CE & FCC certified, and with an 18-month warranty, rest easy knowing we stand behind our work.
Low-profile power.
Not only is the Anker® 24W Car Charger powerful, it’s also among the smallest in size – beating out even most 10W / 15W options and the same size as our 18W model. Our goal was to keep it light, unobtrusive, and compact – to get the job done with minimal distraction.

As advertised- 2 X 2.4A ports. Love it! I never question if an Anker product is going to be good. I love them. This one is no different. What can you say about a car charger? Some of them aren’t well constructed and can break or fall apart when you try to remove them from the port but this one is molded from 2 pieces of plastic which seem virtually indestructible. I can’t imagine this thing coming apart with normal use. Compared to most of the dual port chargers I have used, this one is smaller. It can easily be carried in a pocket if you need to or it wouldn’t take up much room in a purse. 3″ long and 1″ wide. Most car chargers are 3.6 amps or less so if you have 2 iPads or like to charge your phone with a more powerful charger like the iPad charger you always have to make sure to ration your charging. This device makes it so you don’t have to worry about it. There are 2 USB ports rated at 2.4A so you can just plug your cables into the port and you will get maximum charging rates from either USB port. There is one port labelled Apple and one labelled Android but I only have Apple products and both ports work fine. From what I understand, if you want your Android to charge faster, you will get the full 2.4A by plugging it into the Apple port, but if you plug your Android into the Android port, it will limit the rate to 1.5A.Here’s a little side information not related to this device but which might be useful info for someone reading this review. I recently learned that you can charge your smaller devices like iPhones from your iPad charger and get a faster recharge. In the past, that wasn’t possible but changes in battery technology have made it possible to do this. Some people don’t like to do it and believe it will make your overall battery life shorter, but considering the fact that I get Applecare on my phones and I only keep them for the 2 years they are under warranty, I feel very comfortable doing this. I am a battery nerd so I really researched and looked into the pros and cons of charging the iPhone on a 2.1A or higher port and I feel confident enough to tell my friends and family that it is safe to charge their phones this way. This is one of the main reasons I like the dual 2.4A port on this charger. I have iPads and iPhones and don’t want to worry about which port can handle what device and which port is going to be frustratingly slow because both will be blazing fast.If you have a lot of gadgets and never know when you are going to need to charge them, throw a few cables in the car and this charger and you will be set. I’ve purchased many car chargers that are usually in the $20-$30 range and they aren’t even 2.1A per port. They are bulky and one part or another usually breaks or becomes obsolete. This charger is great because the price is right, it is powerful, compact and durable. Good product, poor QC First one I bought was DOA – no signs of life at all with different devices, cars, usb cords, etc. Returned it and bought another, which seems to work as advertised. Based on other reviews, it looks like others have had similar issues, so it looks like Anker needs to improve their QC. Thank goodness for Amazon’s great return policy, and if you get one that works, it’s a great little charger for the price.
