Pretty disappointed I was excited to get my hands on one of these and even more excited when there was a power outage the very same night that my charger arrived. I’d charged it up all afternoon, so when the power went out at 9pm, I strapped it on and plugged in my phone. Then two things started to happen: 1) the battery got hot, 2) the phone didn’t really charge much. Then the battery got hotter. My arm started to itch. My Galaxy Nexus was reporting intermittently that it was and was not charging. The battery got even hotter. And hotter. And hotter still. After 15 minutes, the last light on the charger was flashing to warn me that it was running out of charge, my phone was barely hanging in there for charge, and I’d taken the wristband off before my forearm burnt to a cinder.Exciting concept? Yes. Well executed? …unless I got a complete dud, no. An arm-burning, quick-draining NO.
Great, useful little thing. Great buy at only $40. Really useful since my Android Razr sucks battery like no ones business lol. Rugged, cool looking, and great in a pinch when you need extra battery. Only bad thing is that the sizing only has 2 buttons to snap on, and one is too big, and the other is a tad too small. Oh well, its worth dealing with for this!
Pretty Neat I thought this was really cool. My wrist used the smaller clip and it was always weird having the extra clip jsut sort of dangling there, but a simple nice cut with some scissors leaves it awesmoe
