Besides it’s not just fish that you can catch but also valuable items like blue and rare purple items that you can very easily re-sell at the AH for hundreds if not thousands.
Lastly if you do a lot of grinding you will gather a lot of money, items etc from mobs that you kill which tot up to a lot of gold over time. It is the most boring way to make gold in world of warcraft but the most sure. It is especially effective, though, if you know where to go and grind so that your rate of making gold is sky high enabling you to fill your sack not only with silver and gold coins but rare items that you can use to enhance your character and sell for top dollar at the auction house.
