In the first segment of this three-episode program, Inspector Gadget visits Tiananmen Square and wanders through the Forbidden City, exploring the Imperial Palace, the Gate of Surpreme Harmony, the Bridge of the Golden Water, and Coal Hill. During the second segment, students will follow Gadget as he visits the Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park, White Dagoba Shrine and Jade Island, and the famous Five Dragon Pavilions. in the third segment, Gadget visits the largest articifial structure in the world – the Great Wall of China. He also discovers how the Chinese actually relieve pain by sticking needles in the skin with acupuncture.
