Cost-effective ” Using a free energy makes wind turbines extremely cost-effective. In the long run you are going to be saving money from your electricity bills.

Self-dependent source ” You are able to be your own energy producer not having to rely on other utility companies to supply you with power.

So how does power come from wind?

Wind turbines are the mechanisms that creates the power out of wind energy. A wind turbine converts wind energy into mechanical energy for mechanical work. You may be more familiar with the term windmill, wind turbines are exactly that, windmills. A wind generator is then used to take the mechanical energy converted by the wind turbine to be converted into electrical energy for household usage.

What are the uses of wind power?

There are many uses in which wind power can apply to our needs. Such as: Pumping out water.
