This pouch is wonderful and my iphone can even fit in it. It hooks well to a lanyard for easy carrying. However, I thought it would have a plastic id holder for my school id, which is what I was looking for. It doesn't, but does allow easy access for my id when I need it.

It is by far the best Detective series ever. Except for maybe a couple of bad shows, the series are very exciting, has beautiful women, a little flirting, takes you to London, Paris, Istanbul, India, Rome, New York, South America, Caribbean and more, even though most shows are filmed in London studios. ENJOY!

J. Bush This tablet is not for everyone, but those it is for will be blown away This tablet has entirely streamlined my educational, professional, and personal productivity. I will preface this by saying I chose this tablet (as my very first tablet of any kind) after 5 WEEKS of research and hours and hours of reading the manual, watching video of reviews, unboxing, customization, how-to's, tips and tricks, and specific software guides. I had the nexus 10 in my amazon shopping cart when I first came across this tablet. I will nowhere in this review compare this to an apple device- I have never and will never own one- personal preference, I wholeheartedly believe iOS is sufficient or ideal for a lot of people's use, just not ever going to be for mine. As background, I am in an international DVM program whose laptop just crashed and all 600+gigs of my life were backed up but now only floating in cyberspace so my requirements were a little heady for a tablet-a) deal with extensive editing and review of PDFs, PPTs, DOCs, XLXS, etc 14-17hrs a day (terms range from 21-24 credits, 4-5hrs of lecture straight, 3-4 hrs of lab with no access to outlet in many labs). Also when I say edit I don't just mean take notes on I also mean incorporate text, figures, etc from textbooks, websites, and other documents.b) Be a textbook reader and rarely a e-book reader (novels for fun!) Need to access my extensive kindle library, plus some google books and a few Elsevier/pageburst textbooks. Also this needs to be something I am comfortable and accepting of to literally study off of, enough to give up my previous preferring to only study off of paper/actual printed out notesc) Allow for flawless email, web chat, skype video and text, some web browsing, and file transfer... all on an absolutely horrible school wireless and LAN setup, unpredictable power availability, etc.d) Streaming and downloading of podcasts, video, MRI, CT, radiographs, and ECG'se) Be portable to the clinic and the farms for patient-side transcription, recording, etcf) Get me through the 5-6hr flight and all the airport time!g) Occasionally watch videos/listen to things for funh) Most importantly, due to a dominant hand injury, multiple surgeries, and continued required hand therapy/rehab, I am currently able to write again but not to type with that hand. I therefore wanted a tablet that was stylus intensive- not just for notes, but for navigation, etc. THIS is what made me give up that wonderful squeaky clean android OS of the nexus 10! (I still thing that is probably the best thing for people that want an android tablet but don't NEED a stylus) So my tablet arrived flawless and flawlessly. The display is beautiful, if anything the screen is too bright- I'm aware my eyes are light sensitive so this won't match with the majority of people but if I do turn my brightness on at all I don't believe I've ever gone above 15%, though I'm sure there will be some case videos poorly and darkly shot that I may need to in the future.i) at least temporarily, replace my laptop and download and have as much of my backed up laptop files as possibleThe tablet was quickly populated with the apps from my HTC phone and google account. The account set up for everything was quick and easy. The initial 2 updates were completed with no adverse signs. Navigation was great, no lag, and I quickly cleared out the stock widgets, set up my panes, and then went into settings.... I activated Developer options and did some customization and disabling there, but most of the disabling I did in app manager, device, and controls. There are very helpful guides out there if you're not sure which apps are safe to disable as well as a "Guide: Longer Battery Life- How You're Being Robbed on XDA that takes you step by step in maximizing your tablet. It was not created at the time when I cleaned up mine but it would've helped greatly! Here is the gist. The tablet comes crammed full of software and capabilities that I don't need or want. The My Magazine app, a lot of the touchwiz stuff, the eye movement sensors(smart screen), the hand gesture stuff, reading mode, voice control, motions/palm motions, all of that is just a constant battery drain and I will never use them. They were disabled and the vibration feedback for everything was also turned off.Battery Report: This tablet was shipped within the US twice, and was brought internationally on a plan 4 days later. It was accidently left on the ENTIRE time for about 8 days with six apps up on standby. It arrived with 18% battery left. I use it for 15-17hours a day and end up having to charge it 2-3hrs per about ever 24hr period to get it back to 100. I can use it while it is charging and it will still positively charge during use.USE FOR A STUDENT: It has replaced textbooks, laptop, printer, scanner, and painstakenly editing and customizing notes and...

Black & Decker TLD100 Thermal Leak Detector
Black & Decker TLD100 Thermal Leak Detector

G. Stelzenmuller This meter is a dandy, especially if you're tech-nerd Even if you are an unfortunate non-tech "regular" person. Man, what fun to aim and read this dandy little hand-held temperature detector. This device reads the temperature difference between a "reference point" and wherever else it is pointed around the house (probably only from the inside!). The trick here is to see where temperatures are somewhat lower than the reference point. The reference point, by the way, should be some wall or surface that you suspect is kind of the "average" temperature of the house. This means that the home owner can more easily track down places where cold outdoor air could be leaking in, or where the insulation does not stop heat losses like they should. Leaks almost certainly will be the big heat loss killers (or heat gain into an air conditioned space inside in the summer).Once leaks and losses are narrowed down, then a trip to the hardware store to get some caulk, weather stripping, and limited insulation for hopefully less than one hundred dollars will go a long way to spending less on heating and cooling.A couple notes on this instrument:- This can read temperature differences up to about 300 degrees Fahrenheit, so there is plenty of range. This can be important for finding dangerous HOT spots around the house, and having little to do with energy savings: heating or stove problems hidden from view, electrical shorts behind the wall, etc.- You can set the infrared beam to indicate temperature differences of either 1 degree, 5 degrees, or 10 degrees, giving you a good choice of the sensitivity you are inspecting; and the differences are visual - a green spot for temperature within allowed limits, red spot for too hot, and blue spot for cold beyond the limited tested.- Windows and transparent surfaces (and probably shiny surfaces) will not test well with the instrument. Not a big deal. This tool is an excellent buy.

Polar Loop Activity Tracker
Polar Loop Activity Tracker

PorscheOscar If you know what you're doing this is 5 star First, don't buy this unless you're getting the H6 (for iPhone) or H7 chest strap. This review is based on using the Loop and chest strap. Currently the price for both can be had for about $150 on Amazon if you hold out for a sale. Considering the price of the Nike Fuelband at $150 and the Fitbit Force at $130, the chest strap for the Loop is a no-brainer and must have all at once. Why? because the Fitbit Force and Nike Fuel Band units will never use heart rate data, a deal-breaker for a legit exercise tracker. A $130-150 pedometer like the Fitbit and Fuel band are simply too expensive in my opinion if they exclude heart rate tracking. At $150 and higher you're well into heart rate monitor pricing and well past e-pedometers.Let's talk about sleep. Some have opined that the Fitbits are better for this. Total nonsense. If you're using the chest strap, the Loop provides *minute by minute* tracking of your sleep. You can even see if you experience PAC and PVC's during deep sleep on your chart using the Polar Flow website. Do Fitbit Force users know what PAC/PVC is? Of course not because their devices don't use heart rate at all. Basically when you awake you remove the chest strap, synch the Loop to your laptop (very fast compared to Nike) and you'll have a graph showing you (A) how long it took for you to get into deep sleep, (B) how many calories were burned during sleep,(C) what your resting heart rate is during deep sleep and (D) what the heart rate is during light sleep, (E)how many minutes or hours are spent deep sleep,(F) if you are restless sleeper as it shows when your breathing pattern was interrupted and (G) how many PAC or PVC's you experience in a night. If you think that wrist movement alone like on the Fitbit during sleep is all you need to analyze your sleep then have been misled by Fitbit reviewers. This aspect of the Polar loop and chest strap alone makes it worth buying. You would have to check into a Hospital Sleep Center to have this kind of data analysis at your finger tips. For which they would bill your insurance thousands of dollars. Some have complained that they don't know how to mark the begining or end of a workout when viewing the data on the Polar Flow website or App. Simple: get dressed for your workout and make sure the very last thing you do before you begin is to put on the chest strap (and hold the Loop up to it for it to connect). Dab a little water under the chest strap's blue tooth transmiter, it speeds up the linking. When you are done with the workout and have recovered for a few minutes remove the chest strap. This stops the data recording of heart rate. The Loop will continue to record your foot steps however. That workout is now a "feed". When I log on to Polar Flow I typically have two feeds a day. One is 7-8 hours for sleep. The other is 1.5-2.0 hours for workouts. In essence putting on and removing the chest strap acts as a stop watch. After your workout its good to leave it on until you've recovered your heart rate back towards the resting heart rate zone, or where you were when you began workout. Analyzing this data is important as it shows how quickly you can recover from exertion. As you workout more, this recovery time should begin to shrink. For example a very out of shape person climbing stairs will often be panting for a while afterwards. Since buying the Loop I wear the chest strap frequently to gauge how many calories are burned and the level of heart activity for common activities like walking in the mall or the supermarket. For example a long five hour shopping trip resulted in typical heart rate of 80 bmps and 1,300 calories burned (my resting heart rate for sleep is 55-60 bpms). This shopping trip was enough to meet my minimum activity goal for the day. On the Polar Flow website under "Diary" it showed 130% of the daily goal achieved and it also displayed the average for that week of 120%, thereby demonstrating short-term consistency towards a long-term goal. There were also hyperlinks for each calendar day that took you to the graph for that day's workout when the chest strap was used.Important: by using heart rate tracking you can see how hard those 10 miles you just hiked actually were. The Fitbit and Nike will only show the steps hiked but what if those 10 miles were a mix of hard uphill steps where you had to expend much more energy? Well without heart rate tracking it registers them all as the same. What if you walked those miles at a brisk pace? Only the Loop and chest strap combination records that data, and it does so with the most accurate alogrithm for calories burned in the exercise industry.I'm Android user, no there's no app yet. No big deal I can use use the Polar Flow website from my PC or Laptop to get at the data for exercise or sleep sessions until then. The Android app will come at some point so no point throwing out the baby with the bath water because of impatience. The issue is that...

L. Lilly Awesome little computer This is a great little computer for a great price. As soon as I got it, I increased the memory to 8GB and it runs everything great. I run MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) and Adobe Photoshop (along with some other Creative Suite programs) and they run great. The battery life is too short though (only getting 2 hours) but I don't use energy saving mode at all, just the performance mode. I will buy several more of these for my family because this is a great little computer. Love the touch-screen for this price. FYI - it only has one memory slot that I could see, so I took out the 4GB memory stick and added (1) 8GB memory stick to upgrade the memory.
